Pacifica Collective

About

Surfing a barrel wave on the Costa Rican coast
In New York City
The short version

It started with surfing: reading swells and chasing the best breaks from Jacó to Nosara long before I ever owned a camera. I'm a systems engineer by trade, with almost eight years building software that holds up under real use, but the ocean always pulled just as hard, and somewhere along the way that turned into a real love for photography and cinematic video. Pacifica Collective is where all of it meets. At its core, it's a photography and video studio, working with surfers and homeowners across Jacó who want their sessions and their properties captured properly. Alongside that, I occasionally help a small number of homeowners I know personally share their properties with serious buyers, the way a trusted friend would make an introduction. It's a small, deliberate operation, run the way I'd want it run for myself.
